Multiple miracles happening here.....flinging open the door to all that is before you, no matter what is there, or could be, welcoming the 'come what may', requires a faith and trust most of us humans truly seem to fear. Not seem...we DO fear this kind of surrender. The ripple of miracles in our lives begins, I think, with doing just this, surrendering and once we do, the miracles that come are beyond all expectation. Surrendering is difficult isn't it? I always used to think surrendering would make everything flow effortlessly and maybe I just wasn't "surrendering right" (lots of meditation hours behind me!) -- but I now know it's about letting yourself go downstream (even with some bumps along the way) to where you are meant to be. It is! I love the imagery of letting yourself go downstream...been rafting a time or two and yes, this fits SO well! There are rapids, bouncing burbles, and slow, smooth floats and all of it takes us forward on the journey meant for us. Looking forward to reading more of your writing!
